Shooting in Well Known Juarez Nightclub Leaves 7 Dead

The well known V-Bar located in the Pronaf area of Juarez, Chihuahua was the scene of an early morning AK-47 shooting leaving 7 dead and many wounded.  The shooting occurred inside the nightclub bar when gunmen burst in and starting shooting.  It appears from early reports that the gunmen were targeting certain individuals since they walked up to a group of patrons sitting at a table and shot at them. More than 4,000 people have died in this U.S-Mexico border city in the last two years.  The area is a key drug distribution corridor and the site of a violent turf battle between the Juarez and Sinaloa cartels.
