Ryan Seacrest needs to start brushing up on his Spanish if he is about to produce a Spanish-language singing competition soon.
Seacrest, one of the busiest men in Hollywood these days, is reportedly set to produce “Duelo Musical: Super Estrella” for Telemundo and an English version for NBC.
This news comes on the heals of an announcement that Ryan Seacrest Production (RSP) will launch Fusion a new network from Univision aimed at English-speaking Hispanics, a growing demographic in the U.S.
The “American Idol” host recently told The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Latin America has always produced incredible musicians who have influenced global pop culture. Because of this, RSP has been focused on developing programming to reach the Hispanic audience for some time.’
Seacrest has reportedly sold 13 episodes of “Duelo Musical” and was set to push the series via video during Telemundo’s upfront presentation to Madison Avenue buyers on Tuesday.
