Bachata star Romeo Santos will take the stage Saturday night at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, the seventh stop on his “Formula, Vol 2” tour of the United States that kicked off May 22 in Los Angeles.
The singer, born in New York to a Dominican father and Puerto Rican mother, will give his second and last recital in Florida on Saturday after the long concert he gave Friday at Amway Center in the city of Orlando.
The ex-leader of the Aventura group is turning up all across the country on a tour whose first phase will wind up July 12 in New York City, and which will include Houston, Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C. and more.
Last week at the concert in Los Angeles, actor Vin Diesel revealed that the bachata singer is also about to make his acting debut with a role in the seventh film of the car-racing saga “Fast & Furious.”
Santos was one of the artists with the most nominations in the 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards, held last April 24 in Miami and where he had hopes of winning 17 prizes but in the end took home three.
The self-proclaimed “King of Bachata” launched his new solo disc, “Formula, Vol 2,” on which he collaborates with Drake, Nicki Minaj, Marc Anthony and Kevin Hart, among others.
