The bachata artist of Dominican origin, Romeo Santos, introduced over social networks the cover of his new disc “Formula Vol. 2,” which goes on sale Feb. 25.
The former member of the now-disbanded group Aventura revealed that the new production features the participation of Nicki Minaj, Drake, Marc Anthony, Carlos Santana, Tego Calderon and the comedian Kevin Hart.
“The King of the Bachata,” considered by the music magazine Billboard to be the Latino artist of this decade with the most songs at the top of its lists, posted on Twitter the cover of his new album, on which he makes an appearance.
“Romeo fans here is the promo album of #FormulaVol2,” he wrote on his Twitter account.
Late in 2013, Santos was named by Billboard as one of the most influential artists on social networks on its list of the “Social 50,” together with Beyonce, One Direction, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars.
With “Formula Vol. 1,” the first production of Santos as a soloist, the bachata artist managed to remain four months at the top of Billboard’s lists.
His last two debuts, “Propuesta Indecente” and his duet with Enrique Iglesias, “Loco,” also made No. 1 on radio.
