While the adults of the Modern Family cast had a much longer battle for raises, it appears the younger cast members have negotiated and come to an agreement with far less drama.

Rico Rodriguez, 14, who plays Gloria’s (Sofia Vergara) son, Manny, on the hit ABC show, and his younger cast mates will now be making somewhere around $70,000 per episode. This new salary is about three times higher than their current salaries.

Rodriguez, 13-year-old Nolan Gould, who plays Luke Dunphy, 14-year-old Ariel Winter (Alex Dunphy), and 21-year-old Sarah Hyland (Haley Dunphy) will be getting raises, but the newest member of the cast, 5-year-old Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, who plays Mitchell an Cameron’s adopted daughter Lily, will not see that raise, as she has only been on the show for a single season. This past season she replaced the twins who had originally played Lily.

As for the adults, an agreement was finally reached, but only after they sued 20th Century Fox TV and boycotted table reads. In the end, Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen, and Eric Stonestreet were able to negotiate a salary of between $170,000 and $180,000 for each episode. They previous earned $65,000 per episode.

Episode one of the fourth season of Modern Family is expected to premiere September 26, 2012.

The mockumentary-style comedy premiered in 2009. The show’s third season premiere was ABC’s highest-rated premier in six years.
