The Wrap is exclusively reporting that Christina Aguilera is returning as a judge on NBC’s ‘The Voice’ and will be receiving a $17 million paycheck.
Aguilera, 32, along with Cee Lo Green exited the very popular vocal talent competition, last season, to promote their latest projects. Aguilera was debuting her album “Lotus”. The Latina singer has been busy while away from ‘The Voice’. Mostly recently she released a duet with Mexican singer Alejandro Fernandez for the ‘La Tempestad’ telenovela on Univision.
NBC has not confirmed The Wrap’s exclusive report therefore it is not known which of the current judges (Adam Levine, Shakira, Usher or Blake Shelton) will not be returning. If the report is correct and Aguilera returns for Season 5 with a $17 million paycheck, she will be one of the highest paid Latinas on prime-time TV.
The former ‘Mickey Mouse Club’ singer is divorced and mother to five-year-old Max.
