The Former Toronto Blue Jay and probably best second-base man of all time was inducted into the hall of fame this week.
Alomar, who played second base for the Blue Jays in the 1992 and 1993 World Series Championships has become the first Blue Jay to be inducted to the HOF, and the twentieth second baseman. He is the third Puerto Rican to be inducted, the other two are Orlando Cepeda and Roberto Clemente.
Watch Alomar’s nervous but heartfelt acceptance speech at Sunday’s ceremony in Cooperstown, N.Y.
