The hilarious and entrepreneurial Hispanic street vendor proclaims his right to sell politician clad condoms under the first amendment.
“Even in a recession, you still need protection” and “The ultimate stimulus package” were a few of the hilarious and clever taglines that José Andújar used to sell preservatives in the emblematic Times Square in New York City.
Last Sunday, Andújar was arrested, despite a State Supreme Court justice ruling that states his prophylactics are protected by the Constitution’s guarantee of free speech, and the condom’s packaging should be treated like books, which do not require a vending license.
Andújar has said he won’t give up, and fight in court for his right to sell his merchandise, which also contains Sarah Palin and John McCain condoms.
