A Gallup poll released today shows President Obama’s approval rating has slipped amongst Hispanics and Blacks in March.
Though both groups still approve of the President’s job the slip in March brings the approval to a new low. Currently the President has a 85 percent approval amongst African-Americans and 54 percent amongst Latinos.
His approval by whites is the lowest amongst all ethnic groups at 39 percent, the racial divide has always been a consistent factor throughout his Presidential tenure.
The President’s ratings are strongest amongst the young, highly educated and lower income segments of the population.
The poll was conducted from March 1-31 with 15,744 adults.
