Six French nationals who traveled to this Mediterranean city for Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League match with Valencia were arrested after incidents outside the stadium, Spanish police sources told Efe Wednesday.
All six are accused of vandalism, while two also face charges of resisting arrest and disobeying police, who said earlier that they detained two PSG fans for aggression against Valencia supporters.
The French citizens were expected to be formally arraigned later on Wednesday.
PSG beat Valencia 2-1 Tuesday night in the first leg of their matchup in the knockout stage of the Champions League.
