A Perúvian man was left for dead by muggers, but managed to get to the hospital and survived over 12 hours with a knife stuck in his chest.
25 year-old Peruvian farmer Denar Guivar Delagado was left for dead by muggers who stabbed him in the chest. The 10-inch knife miraculously missed his heart, and though it did puncture his left lung, doctors were able to take the knife out and repair the damage.
The man is recovering, and is expected to be well enough to go back to work in as little as ten days.
