Packers Win Super Bowl XLV, Bring Lombardi Trophy Home

The Green Bay Packers have won their fourth Super Bowl title, with their last title under quarterback Brett Favre back in 1997.

Their opponent Pittsburgh Steelers were the favorite to win, but the Packers were the sentimental favorite.  The Steelers still have the most Super Bowl win than any other team – they have played in the Super Bowl eight times and have won six championship.

In a final score of 31-25, quarterback Aaron Rodgers turned on the power early, with Green Bay leading 21-17 after three quarters.  He was named MVP.  The team brings the Lombardi trophy in essence back home, since it is named after the legendary Green Bay Packers head coach Vince Lombardi.

There were celebs aplenty from former President George W. Bush with his wife Laura to Alex Rodriguez and girlfriend Cameron Diaz.
