After Penn published a pro-Chávez editorial in the Huffington Post, Ozzie called him a clown!
“Sean Penn if you love Venezuela please move to Venezuela for a year.” Tweeted Guillén after Penn criticized the US government for labeling Hugo Chávez as a dictator. “But rent a house in Guarenas or Guatire to see how long you last, clown.”
Ozzie Guillen is the long-time manager of the Chicago White Sox and was born in Ocumare del Tuy, Venezuela. He is the first Latin American manager in major league history to have won a World Series. Guillen has never been one to be shy or reserved about his opinion and he has a lot of opinions. Most recently he ranted against Arizona’s anti-immigrant SB 1070 law.
