North-East Brazilian Floods Leave 20 Dead

The north east region of Brazil saw 3 days of heavy rainfall bringing down more than 14 inches of water.  The states of Alagoas and Pernambuco were hardest hit leaving 50,000 displaced individuals and at least 20 dead.  Some areas are inaccessible and government officials are airlifting stranded people from the hardest hit towns.  The town of Quebrangulo located in Alagoas is reported to be more than 50% submerged by the rains.
