In the NFL upset of the year if not the decade, the New York Jets have defeated the New England Patriots, 28-21 in order to advance to the AFC Championship game against the Steelers.
Jet’s quarterback is Mark Sanchez, the Mexican-American darling of the University of Southern California (his alma mater) and now of New York.
The Jets took a lead on a touchdown pass from Mark Sanchez to LaDainian Tomlinson in the second quarter, then another Sanchez touchdown pass occurred with 33 seconds left to play in the first half. Then with a mere three-point lead Sanchez threw a 7-yard pass to seal their unexpected victory.
As they say down south in Zacetas and Jalisco, Mexico where Sanchez’ family is from: Adios Tom Brady, Hola Mark Sanchez.
