The Taiwan based Next Media Animation, famous for their quick turnaround of hilarious animated spoofs of American news, has created a computer animated rendition of the controversy surrounding the British anchormen of BBC’s Top Gear, who said Mexicans were lazy and flatulent.
In a recent episode of ‘Top Gear’ the irreverent hosts talk about a Mexican sports car and diss it because it would be like all Mexicans “…just being to be lazy, feckless, flatulent, overweight, leaning against a fence asleep looking at a cactus with a blanket with a hole in the middle on as a coat.” Mexican Ambassador in UK, Eduardo Medina Mora, filed a complaint to the BBC about their popular car show ‘Top Gear” for the poor portrayal of Mexicans on the show.
To make matters worse the show even refers to the Ambassador Mora himself, commenting that he won’t even watch the show because he just sits in front of the TV with a remote and sleeps. The hosts also described Mexican food as “refried sick” and Mexicans obsessed with slopping cheese on top of everything.
But… let the guys at Next Media Animation tell you the story how they know best:
