TeleFutura, one of the newer Spanish-language networks in the U.S. announced today that it finished the 2009/2010 Season with a record performance in the network’s history during Spanish-language primetime among all key demographics.
In addition, the network generated strong year-over-year audience increases among all key demographics. This marks the second consecutive season of audience growth for TeleFutura during Spanish-language prime time, as the network continues its heated battle for the #2 spot with Telemundo. The network delivered more nightly rating wins over Telemundo, owned by NBC, in the 2009/10 season during prime time. Univision remains in the #1 spot for this market.
The network, owned by Univision, launched in 2002 with its mostly telenovela content as well as American movies dubbed in English. The network does not offer any news, television specials or original content.
