Nevada authorities have identified the gunman who earlier today entered a Carson City, Nevada IHop and started shooting randomly killing three people, wounding 8 and then shooting himself.
The shooter has been identified as 32-year-old Eduardo Sencion Gonzalez, a local resident who worked at the family’s business. Authorities say Sencion Gonzalez was born in Mexico but had a valid U.S. passport.
The gunman entered the IHop armed with a AK-47 and took aim at five uniformed National Guard members and another individual before turning the gun on himself. Authorities found more weapons in the minivan Sencion Gonzales was driving, which belonged to his brother. Ironically the minivan had a “Support Our Troops” sticker on the back.
Family members were quick to apology for Sencion Gonzalez’ actions and are saying there were mental health issues with the gunmen.
