After a chase and shooting that took place in Acapulco, three members of a cartel were captured last night in the vicinity of Colonia Emiliano Zapata. The three were driving a compact vehicle marked as a taxi with the dismembered remains of a man, an AK-47 and nine cards with Narco messages on them.
Authorities of the municipal Public Security Department, state and federal agencies, said the arrests were part of Operation “Security Warrior”. The police ordered the taxi to stop and the occupants tried to flee. Police arrested the three individuals in the car and further investigated the trunk.
Police found the body of a male person maimed, killed and placed in two plastic bags. Police also found an AK-47 rifle, three kilos of marijuana, a bloody knife, four mobile phones, and nine cards with Narco-messages.
Among those arrested were Ramiro Ortega Olea, Marco Antonio Rosas Romero and Manuel Rodriguez Palma, which were made available to the authorities of the Federal Public Ministry.
