A few minutes before 10 am on Sunday, the Center for Computing and Crisis Control, better known as C-4, received calls from civilians reporting four dead men by the shore of the Nazas river, in Las Huertas, Gómez Palacio, Durango.
The bodies presented signs of torture, and were tied at both hands and feet. All five men had police uniform pants on.
Police also found 10 bullet caskets at the scene, suggesting the men were executed in that place, after being kidnapped somewhere else.
The executed belonged to the Direction of Public Municipal Safety of Torreón, and have been identified as José Guadalupe Pizaña Cardiel, 27, Luis Esquivel Limones, 19, Carlos Benjamín Morales Reyes, 24, y Christian Jonathan Gallegos Hernández, 23.
