San Luis and Morelia became the third and fourth clubs to make coaching changes just seven weeks into the Mexican first division season.

San Luis named Uruguay’s Carlos Maria Morales to replace Eduardo Fentanes, who leaves the squad in the Liga MX basement with 2 ties and 5 losses.

Carlos Bustos, an Argentine who had been coaching Mexican second division club Neza, was tapped by Morelia to step in for compatriot Ruben Omar Romano, fired Monday.

Morales played for Toluca in Liga MX and spent time in Argentina as coach of River Plate’s development squads.

Bustos has history with Morelia, where he played in the late 1990s and later served as assistant to coach Tomas Boy, who is now with Atlas.

Atlante dumped coach Ricardo La Volpe early in the season and Queretaro dismissed Sergio Bueno.
