Former Atlanta Braves third baseman and MVP, Chipper Jones, is doing his bit to help the U.S. government figure out how to curb illegal immigration. He considered his idea so brilliant and simplistic in its approach that he took to social media to share it with everyone.
With his idea suggesting that captured alligators from Florida and Louisiana be moved into the Rio Grande he must figure he can help animal control while helping out border patrol.
Jones, 41, who retired from the MLB in October of 2012 must find himself with a lot of time on his hands.
A day later Jones’ apologized labeling his comment as distasteful and offensive. We aren’t sure what made him think a comment like this was acceptable in the first place.
