Debora Lyra, Miss Brazil, was held at gunpoint in front of her own home in Sao Paulo authorities are reporting.
In a statement given to police on Monday, she said a well-dressed man with a handgun approached her as she pulled into her gated condo complex.
Aiming a pistol at Lyra, the man took her purse, and her vehicle, which was part of her prize for winning the national beauty pageant in 2010.
Fortunately, she didn’t suffer any physical abuse, but still shaken up after the episode she twitted “For how long will these criminals keep doing this? I was just robbed at the entrance to my house.”
