Former Chicago Bull Michael Jordan is worth more than half a billion dollars and he is not looking to lose another large chunk of that in another divorce.
Jordan, 50, is set to marry Cuban-American model Yvette Prieto in April, but in the event the marriage does not last, he has reportedly asked Prieto to sign a prenuptial agreement.
Though Prieto says she did not mind the prenup, she does not think it will ever have to be followed, as she believes the confessed cheater has “sown his wild oats and only has eyes for her.”
Jordan did not have a prenup when he and first wife Juanita Vanoy divorced in 2006. In the end, Vanoy walked away with custody of their three children, their Chicago mansion, and $168 million.
Should Jordan and Prieto divorce, 34, (35 on March 26), would get $1 million for every year they are married. Should they divorce after 10 years, she would reportedly get $5 million for every year they were together. They each would keep any assets
The couple applied for a marriage license at Florida’s main Palm Beach County courthouse on March 7. The two are expected to wed on April 27.
