Wax clones of Maria José, the 35-year-old tattoo Mexican artist will don Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! attractions around the world.
Maria José Cristerna was invited to the Florida headquarters of “Ripley’s Believe it or Not” to bring her a little closer to her vampire-dream of being immortal.
The entertainment company made several body casts of María José, which they’ll use to make five wax statues; three of them will stay in México, for Ripley’s Odditoriums in Veracruz, Mexico City and Guadalajara.
María José’s piercings, implants, and body modifications made the cast-making process particularly challenging; take a look at the body cast making process below.
