Mexican singer Gloria Trevi is preparing a “reality show that is unfiltered and without complexes” about her personal life and artistic career that will air on mun2, the network affiliated with Telemundo.
The singer from Monterrey will be the star of this production by Cinemat, the same company that produced “Larrymania,” the reality show about the singer of regional Mexican music, Larry Hernandez, mun2 said.
The program, currently in production, will follow the songstress backstage and in her daily life.
The diva is currently appearing in cities around the United States, Mexico and Latin America on her “De Pelicula” tour, named after her latest disc.
The reality show will debut just as production wraps up of a movie about the singer’s life.
In a recent interview with Efe, Treve had some harsh words to say about this production: “It’s not what they told me it was going to be and I don’t believe in the impartiality of this project.”
Trevi was charged with abusing minors in 2000, spent three years in a Brazilian jail where she gave birth to one of her children, and, after being pardoned by Mexican authorities, relaunched her career.
