UPDATE:  The Burbank, Illinios Police have announced they are seeking 30-year-old newlywed Arnoldo Jimenez for the stabbing murder of his 26-year-old wife, Estrella Carrera, shortly after they were married.  Jimenez is believed to be driving a 2006 black Maserati and is described as a Latino man, six feet tall weighing approximately 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The groom had been involved with Carrera for approximately three years before they decided to get married impromptu this last Friday.  According to the Chicago Tribune it was a volatile relationship and one that did not meet the approval of various members of Carrera’s close-knit Hispanic family.

Jimenez is the father of the couples two-year-old son.

The couple celebrated their City Hall wedding on Friday evening into the morning of Saturday, which is the last time anyone saw Carrera.  She was found in her sequined wedding dress in a dry bath tub stabbed to death in her apartment.  Her body was found after she didn’t respond to family members looking for her.  Arnoldo is said, according to certain reports, to have called his family to tell them the couple had a fight and left her “bleeding”, Carrera had been seen on other occasions with bruises on her body.

Anyone with information regarding Jimenez’s whereabouts please contact the Burbank, Illinois police at 708-924-7300.
