Photo: Livin' La Vida Kazakhstan? Ricky Martin song plays instead of national anthem
Though we’re not sure how or why it happened, officials at a recent skiing event in Kazakhstan were rather surprised when Ricky Martin’s “Livin’ La Vida Loca” began blasting from the speakers.
The problem? It was supposed to be the Republic of Kazakhstan’s national anthem, “Menin Qazaqstanim” (“My Kazakhstan”).
Though it was quickly replaced with the correct song, you can’t help but giggle at the bewildered faces of the officials.
Guess somebody in the sound booth is a fan of Puerto Rican crooner.
