Late last month Antonio Ynoa was arrested after assaulting a JetBlue flight attendant en route to New York from the Dominican Republic.
Thursday, flight attendant Elio Cabral filed a lawsuit in a Manhattan Supreme Court asking for an unspecified amount after he says Ynoa punched him three times and hyper-extended his elbow.
On the November 27 flight, Ynoa was asked by Cabral and other flight attendants to stop drinking the duty-free alcohol he had purchased in the Dominican Republic. He refused, became belligerent and had to be restrained by an off-duty police officer also on the fight.
Ynoa was turned over to the FBI and charged with assault and interfering with a flight crew.
