Malone, the drug-sniffing dog that works the U.S.-Mexico border at El Paso, abilities are now legendary.
A couple of weeks ago Malone sniffed out Paulo Alfredo Macias, 35, for carrying drugs in his rectum. Yes, you read that right not his pocket but his rectum.
The 5 ounces of heroin were inside an oval-shaped pellet that was inside Macias – but that didn’t matter Malone knew something wasn’t right about Macias as he walked across the border from Mexico.
Most drugs coming in from Mexico are hidden in transportation vehicles or hidden on the smuggler, rarely are they hidden in body cavities.
