A trio of Texas sisters was arrested last week after a Facebook post sparked an argument.
On March 14, Becky Valdez Garcia, 42, Maria Dolores Torres, 50, and Victoria Valdez Flores, 43, were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, a Class C misdemeanor, after they began fighting at Harlingen Medical Center while visiting their father.
The fight broke out in the hospital lobby at around 4:30 p.m. It is unclear who called the police, but when officers arrived they were told the brawl was “over some offensive Facebook posts made by one of the sisters.”
The sisters met before a municipal court judge on Thursday and were released after each paid a $337 fine.
