A Minnesota Latino has pled not guilty to assaulting his own brother after he allegedly attacked him his gaseous release.
Hector Alanzo Estrada, 33, of Mower County allegedly kicked his brother in the head after he farted in the room.
Due to prior offenses, the alleged attack carried a felony charge of domestic assault against Estrada.
After the kicking, Estrada left the building through a back doorway, but when police arrived at the scene they were able to follow his footprints to a nearby McDonald’s restaurant to arrest him.
Estrada is now facing up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. He maintains that he did not kick his brother and says his brother fell and hit his head.
Estrada’s criminal history includes a 2012 assault conviction.
