A Louisiana man may have been trying to keep the state’s rich musical history alive, but the drunken – and naked – attempt only got him arrested.
Last weekend, officers in New Orleans spotted Osmer Hernandez, 33, stumbling down the street after a neighbor called 911. Hernandez was not wearing clothes below the waist, but was carrying a pair of shorts.
When officers approached him, Hernandez reportedly began singing to them. The officers asked him to put his shorts on, but Hernandez instead began to fondle himself.
Hilariously, according to ClickJefferson.com, though the officers could not identify the song Hernandez had been singing, it managed to get stuck in their heads.
Not so funny were the charges filed against the naked singer. Hernandez, who was eventually convinced to put clothes on, was charged with public intoxication and obscenity.
