A 26-year-old Florida woman was arrested for running across the street to slap another woman across the face.
Police in Naples say Dorys Leidys Quintana was at a hair salon with she spotted a woman across the street at a Jiffy Lube service station. In the middle of her hair appointment, Quintana is said to have walked across the street and struck an unidentified woman across the face three times before going back to the salon.
The woman Quintana assaulted said they did not know each other, but one of the employees at the Jiffy Lube said Quintana is his ex-girlfriend.
After returning to the salon, Quintana was met by police who arrested and charged Quintana with battery.
She reportedly told police she wasn’t thinking, calling the slapping “the dumbest thing that she has ever done.”
Quintana posted $2,000 bail and was released from Collier County Sheriff’s Office. She is scheduled to appear in court on August 22.
