Two Illinois men were arrested this week after they returned to a restaurant they tried to rob after being told to come back later.
On Sunday, Mario Garcia, 39, and Domingo Garcia-Hernandez, 28, of Chicago attempted to rob a restaurant near their home. The owner, despite being threatened and held at gunpoint, told the men he was too busy and to come back later.
Oddly, the men left and the restaurant owner called the police to report the incident. Even more baffling was the fact that the men did return. The second time, however, they were met by police and arrested.
The men were charged with aggravated robbery and Garcia-Hernandez is also facing a possession of a replica firearm charge, as the gun he allegedly pointed at the restaurant owner was a squirt gun.
Each man had their bond set at $25,000. They are scheduled to appear in court again on August 19.
