Nancy Gonzalez, a New York Metropolitan Detention Center prison guard, was arrested for having sex with a convicted cop killer that is believed to be the father of her child.
Gonzalez, 29, is eight months pregnant reportedly with the child of 30-year-old Ronell Wilson.
Wilson is currently serving a life sentence but was originally sentenced to death in the killing of two New York detectives in 2003 during a illegal gun transaction. His defense is that he wanted to leave “something behind” when he leaves this world.
Gonzalez for her part said “I took a chance because I was so vulnerable, I wanted to be loved.” She also thought she was giving Wilson a child to give him some type of hope. Other inmates ratted out the couple to prison authorities.
Gonzalez is currently out on bond and officially charged with unlawful sexual abuse of a prison ward facing 15-years in prison if convicted.
