Latin America’s Top Environmentally Sustainable Countries

Recently, the World Energy Council (WEC) launched its 2013 World Energy Trilemma report with the annual Environmental Sustainability Index.

The WEC measured 129 countries’ environmental sustainability as the achievement of supply and demand-side energy efficiencies and the development of energy supply from renewable and other low-carbon sources.

Internationally, the top ranking country is Switzerland and the lowest ranked country for environmental sustainability was Mongolia.
