An unidentified gunman killed two people and wounded 10 others at a carnival in Nova Friburgo, a city near Rio de Janeiro, Brazilian police said.
The shooting occurred during a street party Sunday night at which the Rastafari group was practicing outside a bar.
Hundreds of people had gathered to listen to the group’s performance, police said.
A 20-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were killed in the incident, while the 10 wounded people remain hospitalized.
Investigators are trying to identify the gunman, who fled after opening fire, police said.
