Well placed European sources and intelligence ministers are reporting that Colonel Moammar Gaddafi may have already fled his native Libya and is en route to Venezuela.
Libya teeters on the bridge of collapse with continuous anti-government protests getting more violent, one city Benghazi has already fallen into the hands of protesters. The protesters in Libya continue to fight for change much like Tunisia and Egypt before it – how ever this is a much bloodier fight with 400 Libyans dead so far.
The capital city of Tripoli where Gaddafi resides is in flames and demonstrators have taken over the state television building and torched most government buildings. This weekend Gaddafi’s son assured the world his family would “fight until the last bullet.” Gaffafi has been in power for 41 years.
The Libyan leader and President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez are allies and good friends. Senior officials of Chavez administration are denying the reports as is Gaddafi’s son Seif al-Islam Gaddafi.
