Photo: Juanes Joins Lifebeat for National HIV Testing Day
Monday, the People en Español website premiered Juanes’ PSA to raise awareness for National HIV Testing Day, which is June 27.
Juanes has long teamed up with Lifebeat to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS. This new campaign is spearheaded by Lifebeat in partnership with the CDC and MTV’s GYT Now.
Every month 1000 people between the ages of 13 and 24 are infected with HIV in the U.S., with nearly 1 in 5 unaware they are infected.
Along with Juanes, Lifebeat has also worked with recording artists like Snoop Lion and Swizz Beatz, and have performed outreach during Fall Out Boy, P!nk, Madonna, Coldplay, and CHVRCHES tours.
