TV personality Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has been slapped with a $7M counterclaim to her lawsuit against licensing company SRG Ventures.
Polizzi reportedly partnered with SRG Ventures last year, with the intention of releasing a collection of Snooki-related products. In October, Snooki filed a suit to end the contract with SRG Ventures, citing they didn’t fulfill their financial obligations and failed to secure any branding partnerships.
Now SRG Ventures has filed a countersuit against Snooki and her management team, claiming she violated the terms of their the deal by negotiating with brands behind the company’s back.
A rep for the Jersey Shore star told the New York Post, “Ms. Polizzi disputes SRG’s version of the facts and looks forward to her day in court.”
