Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has just concluded his ninth state visit to Iran and leaves with 11 cooperation agreements signed between the two countries covering matters that range from public housing to oil exportation.
In his meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Chavez assessed his relationship with the President and Iran as a “strategic alliance” met to establish a “new world order based on humanity and justice.”
In typical fashion Chavez and Ahmadinejad condemned American imperialism and predicted that countries seeking world domination are all on the verge of collapse. Throughout his trip Chavez continued to defend Iran’s right to a nuclear energy program and now is enroute to Syria.
