Mexican authorities were conducting an investigation inside a house in the state of Durango when in a pit they discovered ten complete bodies, three headless corpses and four severed heads.
Authorities are not sure if the four severed heads belong to the headless corpses. This find comes on the heels of mass graves with over 135 bodies found in numerous burial pits in the state of Tamaulipas.
Durango has been the center point of turf battles between the Sinaloa Cartel and the ruthless Zeta cartel.
In Michoacan, yesterday authorities found 8 young people killed with their bodies found near a road. Police reports indicate the bodies were naked, bound, gagged with visible signs of torture. All appear to have been shot in the head.
