Honduran officials are reporting a bloody attack on one of their minibus transportation vehicles that left 8 dead and 3 wounded.
The attack occurred in the rural province of Olancho, when unidentified gunmen commandeered the minivan demanding the driver stop, when he refused they opened fire. Officials say they appear to have been targeting someone specific.
Four women and four children were killed and the attack comes days after a horrific bombing on a public bus in Guatemala tied to extortion. This incident is still being investigated.
