With the motto “Taking care of yourself is fashionable,” Argentina celebrated the 17th edition of the Mar de Plata Fashion Show 2011.
Several figures of the Latin American fashion world walked the runway of the most important fashion event of the year in Argentina, including Pampita, Ingrid Grudke, Paula Chaves, Dolores Barreiro, Pía Slapka, Jesica Cirio, Luly Fernàndez, Paula Morales, Magalí Montoro and male models Hernán Drago, Mario Guerci and Tomy Dunster - but all eyes were not on them but rather the usual fashion statement being made by condoms.
Without doubt, the highlight of the event were the dresses made out of condoms donated by Prime. These dresses were designed by students at the Argentine School of Fashion, with support from the “Huésped” foundation, and even included a wedding dress. No word on whether these fashions will go retail.
