Photo: Another chupacabras sighting?
Some local citizens of the Mexican town of Paracuaro believe that the legendary chupacabras has not only grown wings, but is also responsible for the deaths of 35 sheep.
The sheep were reportedly killed over night on March , their bodies allegedly brandishing claw and tooth marks near the neck.
For years, the legend of the chupacabras and similar beasts have been swirling throughout Latin America and even southern U.S. states. Sightings of the chupacabras began in 1994 (some say 1995) and tell of an evil beast that sucks the blood of goats and other animals.
In many cases, tests reveal that animals thought to have been the legendary beast and have shot are simply coyotes with severe cases of mange.
Still, according to the most recent report in Paracuaro, the chupacabras has now grown wings, making the idea of such an animal all the more frightening.
