Following an exchange of with President Obama, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer’s book sales on Amazon jumped 150 percent in just one day.

As the President landed in the troubled Arizona, he was met by the controversial Gov. Brewer, and he gave her an earful.

In her book, “Scorpions for Breakfast,” Brewer calls the President “patronizing”, which resembles remarks she made after their last meeting in 2010, in which she said he was “condescending.”

After the President landed at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport he spoke with Gov. Brewer who later told reporters, “He was a little disturbed about my book. I said to him that I have all the respect in the world for the office of the president.” She added, “The book is what the book is.”

During the Wednesday meeting, Brewer gave President Obama a handwritten letter in which she asked to speak with him about an Arizona comeback.

In recent years, the state of Arizona has fallen into serious financial trouble, compounded by the fact that state funds have (partially) been used in defense of lawsuits filed against the Obama administration. The lawsuits claim the administration has failed to enforce immigration laws or appropriately monitor the state’s border with Mexico.

Though the President said he would not oppose another meeting, as requested in Brewer’s letter, he did point out that their last meeting in the Oval Officer would later be inaccurately represented in “Scorpions for Breakfast.”
