The beautiful beach resort town of Acapulco is the scene of two bloody murder scenes, both involving women as the victims.
Early this morning in a beauty salon the first set of victims were found with their throats slashed. Mexican police found the three females, one of which was a 14-year old, all were semi-naked and bound.
Later in the day Acapulco police found two other women whose throats were also slashed and their bodies had been dumped in the street for everyone to see. According to some reports all the victims worked at the first crime scene, the beauty salon.
Currently there is a U.S. issued travel warning to downtown Acapulco where much drug cartel violence has occurred – the beach resort areas where most foreign tourists go have not been affected.
This week the U.S. State department revised their travel warning from last September and added the state of Jalisco including Guadalajara to their travel warning list.
