Four people were killed Sunday in a car crash in northwestern Puerto Rico, police said.
The vehicle’s driver was apparently speeding, passed another automobile and hit a cement wall on the bridge over the Culebrinas River in Aguada, investigators said, citing the preliminary accident report.
Three people died inside the burning vehicle, while the fourth, identified as 21-year-old Josean Feliciano Gonzalez, was killed when he was ejected from the automobile.
Two of the other victims have been identified as Freddie Hernandez Valentin, 21, and Yangelis Velez Olivencia, no age given, press reports said.
Police are continuing their investigation of the crash.
