Yesterday marked the 103rd birthday of one of the world’s most recognized painters, Mexican Frida Kahlo. She has become so well known and revered throughout the world that Google commerated her birthday with a Google doodle of an image of the painters self portrait on the company’s web logo.
Kahlo was born 103 years ago on July 6th in Mexico. She was recognized for her talent, her prolific work and her love affair with the great muralist Diego Rivera.
